QA Docker Deployment Queue Jobs

Resolved an issue where QA deployments left in-process queue jobs in a Retry In Progress state after Docker containers shut down, preventing retries.

Updated the Docker entry point to start correctly and allow services to shut down gracefully.

Brief Description

Reviewer Queue Status Mapping

The reviewer queue now defines how existing workflow statuses map to the redesigned shared queue columns for Primary Reviewers (PRs) and Course Reviewers (CRs). This ensures that each submission appears in the appropriate location based on its current workflow state and the user’s reviewer role.

  • Added status mapping for three Primary Reviewer queue columns.

  • Defined Course Reviewer queue mappings for:

    • Not Started — submissions assigned to a Course Reviewer where review work has not begun.

    • In Progress — submissions where Course Reviewer work has started but has not yet been submitted back to the Primary Reviewer.

    • Resubmitted — submissions returned to the Course Reviewer for additional work.

  • Applied role-based visibility rules so users see only the submissions permitted for their role.

  • Defined column entry and exit logic for both Primary Reviewer and Course Reviewer views.

  • Ensured that a submission cannot appear in multiple queue columns for the same reviewer role at the same time.

  • Documented out-of-scope and edge-case statuses for future refinement.

Reviewer impact

  • Primary Reviewers can use the queue to oversee submissions according to the approved Primary Reviewer workflow columns.

  • Course Reviewers can distinguish between work that has not started, work currently in progress, and submissions requiring additional work after resubmission.

This update provides a consistent view of reviewer workload and aligns queue placement with the actual workflow state of each submission.

Reviewer Queue Item Access

Reviewers can now open queue items directly from the redesigned shared queue and continue working in the appropriate downstream workflow.

  • Primary Reviewers: Selecting Review routes to the Primary Reviewer workflow, including reviewer management and course evaluation.

  • Course Reviewers: Selecting Review routes to the Course Reviewer workflow for course evaluation.

  • Role-aware routing: The shared queue determines the appropriate workflow based on the reviewer’s role.
