View Descriptors

The Download Descriptor Template in Word button has been removed for public users. A public user will only see the date that the descriptor template was last uploaded by a C-ID Admin. This informs a public user on how current the descriptor template is.

Empty Field Display:

When a View Descriptors page is viewed by a public user, for fields with a value that is null, empty, N/A, or Not Identified, the message No information provided is displayed. This presents the public user with a cleaner and more readable page.

In the Descriptor Detail section of the View Descriptors page specifically, all empty fields are hidden from the public user.

Print Descriptor

A public user can print out a descriptor page. Previously, the button used to print was named Print Descriptor. The title of the button has been changed to Export to PDF.

In addition, the output format and layout for the page has been redefined for clarity and readability.

The printed PDF provides the core content for the course descriptor including:

• Descriptor Title

• Parent Descriptor (if populated)

• C-ID Number

• SUB C-ID Number (if populated)

• Suffix (if populated)

• Units

• Hours

• Last Updated

• General Description

• Prerequisites (if populated)

• Corequisites (if populated)

• Advisories (if populated)

• Content

• Lab Activities (if populated)

• Objectives

• Evaluation Methods

• Textbooks
