CCCCO Admin Functions

Customizable email digest added:

  • Academic Affairs can configure email digests or notifications to College Submitters and CCCCO Reviewers. 

  • Digests can be configured for daily, weekly or monthly distribution and will include Course and/or Program content specific to the recipient of the email. 

Infrastructure/MISC updates included in 3.3

Infrastructure tickets included in the release are listed below. these tickets apply to the underlying COCI codebase and should be invisible to end users.

Comments can be edited and toggled to private:

  • Users can click Toggle Private and the comment entered will only be visible to the user and to support admins. 

  • Comments can now be edited in Program History or Course History

Date Submitted Updated:

  • The Date Submitted field is now updating on the All Courses and All Programs pages to reflect the most recent date submitted.

Course Submissions

Data elements added to courses - CB25 and CB26:

  • Course General Education Status (CB25) and Support Course Status (CB26) added to the Course Details section of the Manage Course page. 

  • Fields validate to the MIS DED for these data elements. 

  • CB25 and CB26 added to the Public Course Report.

  • CB25 and CB26 added to the export from the All Courses page.

Program Submissions

Auto Approval Enabled for NEW and Modified A.A., A.S., and Certificate Programs with goal of Local:

  • All new and modified A.A, A.S. and Certificate Programs with the Program Goal of Local are now defaulted to auto approval. 

  • Programs will be approved at the time of submission after the validation check. 

  • New programs will be assigned a Program Control Number in COCI at the time of approval and will appear in DataMart the following business day.

  • Upon submit modifications will be set to the status of Approved and can immediately be set to the status of Active, if desired. 

  • Auto Approval is a setting controlled by the CCCCO for each workflow and can be enabled and disabled on a per school basis. 

Updated Units and Hours to support entry of Ranges:

  • From and To fields were added to all fields the Units and Hours section of the Manage Program page.

  • Existing programs show the same number in From and To

Program Reviews

Fields displaying 0,1 updated to display submitter selection:

  • Catalog Description and District Governing Board Approval Date fields updated to display response provided by the submitter instead of 0,1 values.
