COCI 2.3 - Deployed 02/01/2019

2.3 includes refinements to the validations and conditional display for programs and courses in addition to a few bug fixes for the new "Document Audit"  screen for programs. The changes deployed are explained below, organized by which tab on the site they belong to.

Updates to program documents displayed on Review and Detail pages

Details

The CCCCO reported that tall documents visible on the manage page were not displaying in the Review and Detail pages. A bug fix was applied to carry forward all documents associated with a program proposal through to the Detail and Review pages.

Updates to page layout to support longer text entries

Updates to Document Audit page

Type

Details

New sections introduced to separate documents uploaded by users from documents regenerated by the application. All documents regenerated by the application - regardless of document type - can now be removed.

Updates to "CDCP Eligibility Criteria" field in programs

Drop down options for htis field were updated based on feedback from the CCCCO.

The following options were removed from the drop down: 

  • "Citizenship for Immigrants (B)"

Details

All fields in this section of a course proposal were not displaying when users initially created a new course record. The default form layout was updated to make it consistent with the fields that display in the same section on the programs page.

Updates to Special Characteristics Code Descriptor field

Type

Details

If a course was changed from Credit Status (CB04) of Noncredit to a Credit course, if any values had been set for "Special Characteristics Code Descriptor" then those values are retained, but no longer visible in the UI. Then once the course is submitted, it will get a validation error of "No special characteristics when Credit Status is "Credit - Degree Applicable""

Updates to Noncredit Category (CB22) field

Details

The dropdown options were updated to display "Y - Credit Course" but not allow users to select this option when CB04 is set to Noncredit. The option was not displaying at all previously for non-credit.

Add College to Account function fixed

Type

Details

Admins were able to associate colleges with a user account but it was not displaying the list of colleges until after the account changes had been saved. A fix was applied and colleges now show at the time they are added.
