COCI Service | Brief Description |
|---|---|
All Courses
| College Submitters can search for courses by COR Effective End date on the Courses page by selecting a date range. College submitters can view which courses are set for deactivation on the COR Effective End date automation, allowing them to track upcoming deactivations. Use the Auto-deactivate search field to filter courses.
|
Course Summary | The Course Summary tab includes a COR Effective End Date entry field with an option to auto-deactivate on that date. You must enter a response (Yes/No) if a COR Effective End Date is included in the course form. If the user selects Yes, the course will automatically be set to Inactive on the COR Effective End Date. This applies to both new submissions and modifications. A message in the course form notifies college submitters if a course inactivation is scheduled.
|
Course Transfer & Articulation | A Transfer & Articulation tab has been added to the course form. CCCCO Admins can toggle C-ID Articulation Mapping and Cal-GETC Mapping under this tab. When a course has a C - Credit - Not Degree Applicable or D - Credit - Degree Applicable status in the Credit Status (CB04) field under the Attributes tab or the course form, CCCCO Admins can toggle on Cal-GETC Mapping. This allows only credit courses to be mapped to a Cal-GETC subject area. If the credit status is N - Noncredit, Cal-GETC Mapping is not available. In the Cal-GETC Mapping section of the course form, CCCCO Admins can:
When the course form is saved, the Cal-GETC Mapping information appears in the course review and read-only views. The uploaded documents are linked, and all mapping fields are read-only in the history view. For college submitters viewing the Transfer & Articulation tab, the CSU GE section appears only if the course has an existing CSU GE mapping, while the IGETC section appears only if the course has an existing IGETC mapping.
|
All Programs | When a program is submitted with validation errors or missing required fields, Save Errors are displayed. Errors related to fields on the current tab include hyperlinks that navigate to the respective field and appear in blue text. The validation areas are grouped by tab in the program form. The program goal, previously denoted as CTE, Local, or Transfer on the program approval letter and in the traditional program mapping search criteria field, now fully displays as follows: C - CTE, O - Local, T - Transfer.

Cal-GETC | The Cal-GETC tab is accessible to CCCCO Admins and College Submitters. Users logged in under other roles cannot see the Cal-GETC tab. The Cal-GETC page allows CCCCO Admins to define and edit Cal-GETC subject areas for transfer mapping alignment. The following form fields are editable:
CCCCO Admins can also search for and associate C-ID descriptors using a lookup tool. Upon Save, the Cal-GETC Subject Areas and Cal-GETC Subareas tables update. The Cal-GETC Subject Areas table on the Cal-GETC page includes a History button that allows CCCCO Admins to view the history for each subject area. This history records all create, edit, or status change actions for each subject area, providing the timestamp of the change, the user who made the change, the field altered, and the before and after values. The history cannot be edited.
