Language Change to SSN Question to Support Title V Requirements

A minor text change was made to the Social Security Number (SSN) question in CCCApply, changing  the language regarding an undocumented and/or nonresident student as an “nonresident alien” will now read  “a person who is not a citizen or national of the United States”. This comes in response to the statewide language changes adopted in Title V for AB540. 

Fraud Prevention Enhancements

As part of our ongoing efforts to combat application and financial aid fraud across our system, several new enhancements were made in this release to better detect and defend against bad actors and generally increase overall security. For security reasons details of these enhancements will not be posted publicly or shared externally outside of the CCCTC Private Fraud/Spam Support forum or via private, secure communications with college staff.

• Other: Oxnard College campus phone number was updated for CCPG & International apps.

Data Access & Delivery

Superglue for Apply

As new features and functionality are developed for CCCApply and other systemwide technology applications, it may be necessary for colleges to upgrade their existing Superglue College Adaptor schema to the latest version. For information about the Superglue College Adaptor and your current schema version, please contact your College Experience Manager at Enabling Services for assistance.

Data Warehouse Access

All CCCApply and Student Success Suite data fields are ultimately stored in the CCC Data Warehouse which can be accessed directly via the Data Warehouse Direct Access Connection service and/or, for authorized admins and staff, through the Data Warehouse Report Server.

Documentation

No data element changes were made in this release. The latest CCCApply Data Dictionaries and User Guides are posted in the CCCApply Public Documentation space.
