Release Summary

CCCApply System Updates

A series of internal system updates were deployed across CCCApply including:

Security Enhancements Made to CCCApply Admin User Management

Due to security concerns regarding college-user admin access in the CCCApply Administrator system, the “Admin” user role - which allowed authorized college staff and administrators to add and manage their approved staff user accounts - has been disabled in the Core Administrator Platform (CAP). This change will only affect the college’s ability to add/manage their own active user accounts; there is no change to administrator or report center access, features, or functionality.

Effective immediately, all CAP user management must be requested through the CCCTC Staff Support system, including adding new approved college staff accounts and editing or removing existing accounts. This user management change applies to the following applications and utilities:

  • CCCApply Administrator for Standard/Noncredit Applications (including the legacy Spam Filter utility)

  • CCCApply Administrator for International Application

  • CCCApply Report Center

  • OpenCCC Account Creation Administrator

Requesting College Staff User Access: To request new user access, or to request a change to an existing user’s access, for any of the OpenCCC or CCCApply systems listed above, please send an email request to CCCTC Staff Support at staffsupportccctc@openccc.zendesk.com with the following subject line: Requesting College User Management Change, along with your name, title, college, and the application(s) being requested.

ID Verification Fields Added to CCCApply Report Center: Full Application Reports

The generic ID Verification fields (see list below) that were implemented in the OpenCCC system back in November 2025, have been incorporated into the CCCApply Report Center Full Application Reports for the CCCApply Standard and International applications.

  • Verification Workflow Status <verification_workflow_status>

  • Verification Confirmation Timestamp <verification_confirmation_timestamp>

  • Verification Opt-In Timestamp <verification_optin_timestamp>

  • Verification Source Identity <verification_source_identity>

Military JST Opt-In Field Added to CCCApply Administrator Rules & Messages

The Military JST Opt-In <military_jst_optin> field that was added to CCCApply back in July 2025 to support military service members, was addd to the CCCApply Administrator Rules and Messages modules and can now be used in custom email and error message rules and messages by colleges.
