Review Submitted Programs
CCCCO Reviewers use COCI to review programs submitted by College Submitters. To manage your review queue, go to Curriculum Submissions > All Programs. From that page, you can add programs to your queue. After you add a program, it appears on the My Program Reviews page under Curriculum Reviews > My Programs, where you will conduct your review.
Add a Program to Your Queue
From the left navigation panel go to Curriculum Submissions > All Programs — you are taken to the Programs page.
In the programs list table Search Criteria area, select Submitted to filter the list to submitted programs.
At the top of the programs list table, select Date Submitted to sort the list so the oldest submitted program appears first.
In the Action column, select add to queue for the proposed program you want to add to your review list.
Go to Curriculum Reviews > My Programs to see the proposed program added to your Program Reviews page.
After you add a program to your queue, the status for the program in All Programs changes to Review. This lets the College Submitter know that you are actively reviewing the program.
Review Programs
From the left navigation panel, go to Curriculum Reviews > My Programs. The My Program Reviews page opens.
On the My Program Reviews page, select Review in the Action column of the Programs table.
The Reviewing Program page is displayed. Note: This page is read-only for CCCCO Reviewers and is used only for reviewing the program.
Confirm that the program meets all requirements in the Program and Course Approval Handbook by reviewing the content in the Attributes, Summary, Units & Hours, and Associated Courses tabs.
Go to the Supporting Documents tab and download the Program Narrative, Transfer Document, and any Additional Program Documents.
Go to the Associated Courses tab. For each course associated with the proposed program, verify that the information in this tab matches the course descriptions in the Program Narrative and Transfer Document.
If you are satisfied that the program meets the requirements in the Program and Course Approval Handbook and that the associated courses match the Program Narrative and Transfer Document, select Approve from the Proposal Actions dropdown menu at the bottom of the page. The review process is complete.
If the program or its associated courses need changes, select Send To Revision from the Proposal Actions dropdown menu. Provide detailed comments that describe exactly what the College Submitter must change for the proposed program to receive approval.
Example:
The outline for the associated course ADMJ 301 Investigative Report Writing does not match the course description in the Program Narrative. Please revise.
The program proposal is returned to the College Submitter for editing, and the status changes to Revision. After the College Submitter makes the required changes and resubmits the proposed program, it returns in Review status, not Submitted status. It is routed back to the same CCCCO Reviewer who requested the changes.
