Temporary Blocks in Application to Prevent Fraud
Issue
To prevent spammers from submitting fraudulent applications to your college through CCCApply, a series of temporary error messages were implemented in the application process to block fraudulent activity. These are temporary blocks that will from using the same email address to create multiple OpenCCC Accounts or submit multiple applications (ten or more), or to submit an application in under a very short amount of time
Error Message Blocks
Error Code 67 - if an application is submitted within 90 seconds or less.
Error Code 50 - is if the Email is linked to multiple CCCIDs.
Error Code 51 - is if the Email is linked to multiple Apps.
