Review Submitted Programs

CCCCO Reviewers review programs submitted by College Submitters in COCI. To manage your review queue go to Curriculum Submissions > All Programs. You can add programs to your queue from there. Once a program has been added, it will appear in your review list on the My Program Reviews page under Curriculum Reviews > My Programs, where you will conduct your review.

 

Add a Program to Your Queue

  1. From the left navigation panel go to Curriculum Submissions > All Programs — you are taken to the Programs page.

  2. In the programs list table Search Criteria area select Submitted to filter the list to submitted programs.

  1. At the top of the programs list table, click on Date Submitted to filter for the oldest submitted program.

  1. In the Action column, click on add to queue for the proposed program that you wish to add to your review list.

  2. Go to Curriculum Reviews > My Programs to see the proposed program added to your Program Reviews page.

  3. Once you add a program to your queue the status for the program in All Programs will change to Review to let the College Submitter know that you are actively reviewing the program.

 

Review Programs

  1. From the left navigation panel go to Curriculum Reviews > My Programs — you are taken to the My Program Reviews page.

  1. In the My Program Reviews page, click on Review in the Action column of the Programs table.

  1. The Reviewing Program page is displayed. Note that this page is for reviewing a program and will be read-only for CCCCO Reviewers.

  1. Validate that the program meets all of the program requirements in the Program and Course Approval Handbook by reviewing the content in the ATTRIBUTES, SUMMARY, UNITS & HOURS and ASSOCIATED COURSES tabs.

  2. Go to the SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS tab and download the Program Narrative, Transfer Document, and any Additional Program Documents.

  1. Go to the ASSOCIATED COURSES tab. For each individual course associated with the proposed program, verify that the information given under this tab aligns with the way it is described in the Program Narrative and Transfer Document.

If you are satisfied that the program meets the requirements of theProgram and Course Approval Handbook and that the associated courses match Program Narrative and Transfer Document, and wish to approve the document, select Approve from the Proposal Actions dropdown menu at the bottom of the page. The review process is then complete.

  1. If the program and/or its associated courses need additional changes, select Send To Revision from the Proposal Actions dropdown menu. Provide a detailed comment(s) telling the College Submitter exactly the changes that they must make for the proposed program to receive approval.

Example:

The outline for the associated course ADMJ 301 Investigative Report Writing does not match the course description in the Program Narrative. Please revise.

The program proposal is returned to the College Submitter for additional editing and the status is changed to Revision. Once the College Submitter makes the required changes and re-submits the proposed program, it will not go back to the status of Submitted, but rather, it will be returned to Review status and routed back to the same CCCCO Reviewer who requested the additional changes.
