Release Summary

  • System Technical Updates

  • Support for IDme Verification Status Change Data

  • Minor Bug Fixes

System Technical Upgrade

This release focused on the completion of a significant technical upgrade to the OpenCCC identity and access management system. This upgrade will improve account recovery performance in our student account system, and support faster, more efficient troubleshooting and bug fixes across our support channels and Help Desk. Most importantly, this effort better secures and safeguards our systemwide applications and services.

This upgrade also allows us to maintain the system on a recurring basis to take advantage of new features and enhancements, and to avoid issues that can arise from running older versions.

Need Help? Colleges can reach CCCTC Staff Support at staffsupportccctc@openccc.zendesk.com for assistance.

Support for IDme Verification Status Change Data

Part of the system upgrade includes several enhancements to our IDme Identity Verification Integration that will enable colleges to track student verification status changes over time. A set of new status change data fields and timestamps have been added to the post-submission Apply data that can be accessed by colleges in a newly updated version of the IDme Verification Status Change Report and, following an upcoming Superglue version release, can be delivered directly to a dedicated staging table.

Colleges may request access to the IDme Verification Status Change Report by contacting CCCTC Staff Support at staffsupportccctc@openccc.zendesk.com.

Note: The initial version of the status change report was put on hold in September 2024 due to a dependency on this production release to ensure data accuracy and the delivery of account profile event notifications.

Bug Fixes

  • Minor Chatbot Update: A small code fix was made to the OpenCCC Account chatbot tool.

  • Account Issue for Students with Common Names: A fix was made that was preventing some students with certain common capitalized first and last names from creating their OpenCCC accounts.

  • Woodland College Phone Number: The phone number for Woodland College has been updated in CCCApply applications.

Data Access & Delivery

IDme Status Change Data Fields

A set of new data fields and timestamps designed to track IDme verification status changes over time have been added to the CCCApply post-submission data set. These new fields are available via the IDme Verification Status Change Report (by request) and will soon be delivered via Superglue in an upcoming release. All Apply data fields, including the IDme and status change data fields, are documented in the CCCApply Standard & Noncredit Application Data Dictionary (v.2024.5 or higher).

The information below provides general information about CCCApply data access and delivery.

Superglue for Apply

As new features and functionality are developed for CCCApply and other systemwide technology applications, it may be necessary for colleges to upgrade their existing Superglue College Adaptor schema to the latest version. For information about the Superglue College Adaptor and your current schema version, please contact your College Experience Manager at Enabling Services for assistance.

Data Warehouse Access

All CCCApply and Student Success Suite data fields are ultimately stored in the CCC Data Warehouse which can be accessed directly via the Data Warehouse Direct Access Connection service and/or, for authorized admins and staff, through the Data Warehouse Report Server.
