Instruction Work Group

Charge

The Instruction work group develops and recommends pedagogical practices and student learning outcomes for instruction on student use of the discovery system. The work group identifies challenges and opportunities that arise while teaching with the discovery system and provides recommendations based on the identified shared needs, experiences, and practices of librarians across the colleges. Major considerations of the group include the ACRL Framework for Information Literacy Instruction, the unique configurations of each college’s discovery system, and the close intersection of user experience and instruction.
