Release Highlights
This is a major release. The maintenance window for the OpenCCC and CCCApply PILOT environments will begin at 5:00 pm on Monday, November 11, 2020.
Our focus for this release is to expedite an update to the CCCApply Standard and Noncredit applications to align with changes implemented by MIS DED to SB11 and SB15 which were enacted in July, 2020. Other important changes include the critical integration link between the CCCApply International Application and MyPath, allowing MyPath colleges to streamline the onboarding and matriculation process for F1 international students.
Pilot Preview: Release 6.8.0 changes will be deployed first to the CCCApply PILOT (sandbox) environment for college preview and testing prior to the production release currently scheduled for early December 2020.
Getting to the CCCApply Pilot Environment: Authorized college faculty and staff can preview the release changes in your college’s Pilot environment. Visit the Pilot Environment page for more information.

CCCApply Content Changes
Changes to Align with CCCCO MIS DED Changes in Support of SB554: Adult Education Special Admit
CCCApply is implementing several small changes to key data fields on the Education page in order to align with recent MIS DED changes to SB11 and SB15. These MIS changes were made to comply with California Senate Bill 554 (SB554) allowing students currently enrolled in an adult education program in pursuit of a Certificate of High School Proficiency to also be permitted to enroll at a California community college.
What is SB554? Find out in the FAQ: Changes in CCCApply to Comply with SB554: Adult Education Special Admit
A summary of the user interface and data field changes includes:
A new response option was added to the College Enrollment Status question for adult school special admits
A new response option was added to the High School Education Level question for adult school special admits
A new response option was added to the Last School Attended question for adult school students
The format and layout of the Last School Attended question was changed as follows:
The question format was changed from multiple radio buttons to a dropdown menu
The section heading was revised from “Last High School Attended” to “Last School Attended”
The Help text was updated as needed in English and Spanish
The onscreen and Help text for the School Finder function was updated as needed
See the complete Breakdown of Changes below for change specifications and screenshots.

All new data values will appear in the CCCApply Report Center and CCCApply Administrator Rules
MyPath Feature Enhancement
New Integrated Pathway Between the CCCApply International Application and MyPath
The CCCApply International Application has been enhanced with an integrated workflow path into MyPath, the college-configurable onboarding and matriculation tool developed by the CCC Tech Center.
Similar to the workflow path that exists between the CCCApply Standard and Noncredit applications, colleges can now streamline the admission process for their F1, M1 students with customizable advisor cards, email and SMS text message notifications, and a document upload tool.
