Release Summary

Revised IDme Verification Integration Page

To improve the systemwide use of IDme for student identity verification, a revised version of the “Verify Your Identity” page was made to better inform students of the importance of identity verification before financial aid funds are dispersed, specifically cash disbursements such as Cal Grant and Pell Grant.  The changes consist mostly of language revisions, formatting changes, and new graphic on the verification interstitial page (formerly known as the “Verify Your Identity” page) and the “Decline verification” modal for English & Spanish-speaking users.

Enhancements & Fixes to Support Fraud Prevention

Several additional enhancements and bug fixes were deployed to further advance our fraud prevention efforts. For security reasons, these fixes will not be shared publicly outside the CCCTC Private Fraud/Spam Support Group.

Authorized college and district staff may request access to the private fraud/spam support group by sending an email request to CCCTC Staff Support at staffsupportccctc@openccc.zendesk.com.

Data Access & Delivery

No data access or data delivery changes were made in this release. The information below provides general information about CCCApply data access and delivery.

Superglue for Apply

As new features and functionality are developed for CCCApply and other systemwide technology applications, it may be necessary for colleges to upgrade their existing Superglue College Adaptor schema to the latest version. For information about the Superglue College Adaptor and your current schema version, please contact your College Experience Manager at Enabling Services for assistance.

Data Warehouse Access

All CCCApply and Student Success Suite data fields are ultimately stored in the CCC Data Warehouse which can be accessed directly via the Data Warehouse Direct Access Connection service and/or, for authorized admins and staff, through the Data Warehouse Report Server.

Need Help? Colleges can reach CCCTC Staff Support at staffsupportccctc@openccc.zendesk.com for assistance.

Pilot Testing: Send Your Feedback

Pilot releases provide colleges the opportunity to preview and test upcoming changes to Student Success Suite production applications. Pilot and Production releases are announced in advance on ccctechnology.info.

Instructions for pilot testing are provided below. Please communicate any feedback or bugs found with our Staff Support team: staffsupportccctc@openccc.zendesk.com.

IMPORTANT
The IDme Identity Verification system does not have a designated testing environment (pilot environment) which means if you plan to test the complete IDme verification process while conducting any OpenCCC or CCCApply pilot testing, you will be taken directly to the IDme production site and will be required to use your real personal data and provide genuine identity documents to complete the verification process.

Pilot Testing Instructions for CCCApply Standard Application

  1. Click on your college’s unique CCCApply PIlot site URL - or use our generic “Unicollege” pilot site listed below.

  2. Sign in with an existing pilot testing account, or create a new account for pilot testing

  3. Don’t forget to tell us of any issues you encountered during your testing. Send feedback or log any bugs with our Staff Support team: staffsupportccctc@openccc.zendesk.com
