Some colleges may experience issues when testing their Download Client against the March 2016 CCCApply standard and international application releases.

CCCTC recommends all colleges do the following if they experience download issues:

  1. Test your Download Client in the Pilot environment first to determine it is working correctly with the updated 2016 application(s).
  2. If you discover any issues:
    1. Check your Java version and update to Java V.7 if the Java version is older.
    2. Retest the Download Client in the Pilot environment again.
  3. If you still discover issues, update your Download Client files to the latest ones. Yours may be too far out of date. You can access the updated Download Client files (transfer-client.jar, application-context.xml, and cccctransfer.properties) available here: CCCApply User Guides and Download Files
    1. Be sure to back up your original Download Client files prior to downloading/installing the updated ones.
    2. Retest the Download Client in the Pilot environment again.

Once your Download Client downloads are working correctly in the Pilot environment, please wait until the Production (PROD) environment has been updated by CCCTC (ETA is April 7 or April 8, 2016). Or, if you are in a hurry to download applications from the PROD environment, and you have not yet updated your Java to V.7, please do so. Then, test your Download Client against the Pilot environment before running it against the PROD environment.
