Problem / Issue
Administrators in Student Services are the heart and soul of the Community College system. They are working with special populations - our core audience with the most challenging barriers - on how to get through the application
Dual Enrollment - BIG push right now
Illiterate students - they can't read - they don't read - so they are just randomly picking responses to the questions they don't understand. This is creating all kinds of problems, including residency status, financial problems (by not providing their SSN, parents are getting bills for college, etc.) and they are not getting placed correctly, etc.
VIDEO Tutorials
TEXT messaging is the key. The mass majority of special populations do not have email - they don't use emails - we HAVE to implement text messaging capability and USE it for everything. Reminders
