Problem / Issue
The CCCApply Steering Committee has requested the following change be made to the Education page in the Standard Application. This change may or may not be approved for the International Application, and is currently under review by the International Application sub-committee.
The issue is that middle school/Junior High School students are not represented in the "Last HS Attended" section of the application which is causing confusion for many students in special admit programs when applying. The committee has requested that the following logic should appear:
IF College Enrollment status = "Enrolling in high school (or lower grade) and college at the same time" AND "HS Education Level = "Will be enrolled in high school (or lower grade) and college at the same time" THEN display an additional radio button/value in the subsequent section "Last High School Attended" called:
Proposed Solution
- Change the "Last High School Attended" section label to "Last School Attended"
IF student is a Special K12 Admit (attended/attending high school (or lower grade) and college at the same time) then display an additional radio button and data field value to the HS Attendance field and display on screen an additional radio button for: "I attended a lower grade than high school"
If the applicant selects "I attended a lower grade than high school." then Do Not show or collect the HS Name, HS State information.
