Summary

This release is focused on ensuring CCCApply Standard Application implementation of new options for adult school students who wish to take college classes. Other enhancements focus on infrastructure and deployment updates to streamline the CCCApply release process.

Release Highlights

The priority for this release is to implement the changes to the Education page in the CCCApply Standard Application required by the CCC Chancellor’s Office MIS to comply with SB554 (Adult Ed Special Admit).

Feature Changes:

• MyPath for International Application Link: Colleges who have implemented MyPath for CCCApply International Application Implement link between CCCApply International App and MyPath so that colleges who have implemented both tools can facilitate a smooth pathway to college onboarding and matriculation.

Content Change:

• New response options to support SB554 (Adult Special Admit / Dual Enrollment) per MIS reporting requirements.

• Enhancement to ensure students who did not attend any high school and were not homeschooled are not required to respond to the High School Transcript Information questions (Multiple Measures)

Adult Special Admit (SB554) Changes

New response options to support Education page question changes to comply with SB554 (Adult Special Admit / Dual Enrollment).

A. New response option added to the College Enrollment Status question: “Enrolling in adult school and authorized to enroll in college at the same time”.

Changes to Data Fields & Data Delivery

For colleges using the CCCApply Download Client, there is one new data field to add to your Standard Application Format Definition XML and run the 6.7.0 Jar file in order to download the data in Pilot and Production. See the data specs in the CCCApply Standard & Noncredit Application Data Dictionary v.2020.1 (see below).

SuperGlue release 3.7.0 supports the student application data changes in CCCApply 6.7.0. Colleges using the SuperGlue College Adapter to stream student application data directly to their student information system (SIS) will need to upgrade to SuperGlue release 3.7.0. The SuperGlue 3.7.0 College Adapter will be available in advance of the CCCApply 6.7.0 pilot and production releases to allow college IT staff time to upgrade.
