  1. Implement ability to filter Majors and Major Categories by Award Type based on Ed Goal A

  2. Implement the ability to sort Award Type display as follows:

First: AA-T

Second: AS-T

Third: AA

Fourth: AS

IF/When - Education Goal value “A” is selected; otherwise maintain current alphabetical display order of majors for all other Ed Goal values.

3. Require colleges to select an Award Type for all Majors (PENDING APPROVAL).

3A: If approved: Add asterisk to “Award Type” menu on Add/Edit Majors UI modal.

4. Add “Recommended” to the Program Control Number input field in the Add/Edit Majors UI modals.

TEST the heck out of all changes for IMPORT/EXPORT processes

Tasks:

  • Confirm number of colleges using the Majors Categories filter

  • Send Jane report of Enroll Status v Ed Goal values for 2022-2023

  • Build a storyboard for the changes to CCCApply Standard/Noncredit that would support this new legislation.

What is the general education pathway promised by ab928 called?

This common core curriculum is known as the Intersegmental General Education Transfer curriculum (IGETC). Any student who completes the IGETC course pattern is deemed to have completed the lower division coursework required for transfer to the UC or the CSU (Education Code (EC) Section 66720).
