Disabling the ability to enroll in a hidden class on SSB

In order to block the ability for a student to enroll in a hidden section in SSB if they know the CRN, follow the instructions below.

Open the GTVSDAX form.

In the "Query" menu, select "Enter".

Put the following values in:

Code: CRNDIRECT

Group: WEBREG

Now in the "Query" menu, select "Execute".

The form should retrieve the record already existing in GTVSDAX.

Update the "External Code" field from a "Y" to an "N" to disable students entering hidden CRNs by typing the CRN directly.

Click the save button.

Congratulations!  You have disabled the ability for students to enter course exchange sections outside of the course exchange!
