Course Attributes | When creating a new course, users must input a response to the following fields:

Course Summary | Users can access the Course Summary by clicking Next on the Attributes tabafter successfully creating a draft course. The following fields are required for all course submissions:

Users can navigate to the Detail tab by clicking Next. Clicking Next will save all changes made on the current tab. If users are done editing a draft course at this point, clicking Save Changeswill capture all inputs made since last save and the user can exit the course form.

Course Detail | All fields on this page are required. Depending on the course type, select fields will be displayed as “read-only” with the field response populated. For example Noncredit Category (CB22) is shown with a “Y - Credit Course” response on the form by default for credit courses. Read only fields are displayed with the field title in grey. | |||||||||||
Units & Hours | All possible units and hours fields are now displayed in the for. Field are not conditionally hidden or displayed. Minimum Hours of Work and Maximum Hours of Work are new to the form and become required or disabled based on the Course Cooperative Work Experience Education Status (CB10) response provided on the Detail tab. Responses provided in these fields now auto contributes to the auto calculation in the Units of Credit - Minimum (CB07) and Units of Credit - Maximum (CB06) fields.

Transfer & Articulation | This tab contains three optional sections:
The default selection for these optional fields is set to off. Switching the toggle to on expands the fields. When adding a transfer mapping in either the CSU GE or IGETC sections, users are required to add the supporting documentation from ASSIST.

Contact | Comments have been moved to this page. Any comments previously made will be displayed here, and as well as in the course history. | |||||||||||
Proposal Actions | All available actions are displayed on this page. | |||||||||||
Clicking Edit for an existing course with a control number | Clicking edit will take users to the working copy by default. It is no longer possible to directly edit an “Active” course. Users will make all needed changes and then submit the course by clicking Finalize Changes on the Proposal Actions tab. | |||||||||||
Generating new Approval Letters | Approval Letters are displayed on the Attributes tab. Users now have the option to generate an new (updated) approval letter for courses as needed. | |||||||||||

Impersonate User | CCCCO Admin users can impersonate other users as an added support tool. To impersonate a user, go to the main results table, identify the user and then click Impersonate in the Action column. |
