Security Updates for DWRS User Accounts
Security updates were made to the enhancements were implemented for Data Warehouse Report Server (DWRS) access, supporting single sign-on authentication (SSO) for colleges and districts via their own institution identity provider systems, and additional security for non-SSO users via multi-factor authentication. All existing user accounts have been migrated to a new secure identity management system; however all users will need to take one or more, one-time actions to re-authorized authenticate their existing account access.
User Implementation
SSO Users: This additional security requires authorized college and district users to access the DWRS through a custom URL based on their MIS code.
Colleges and districts will now sign in to the Data Warehouse Report Server via their institutions secure IdP and existing user credentials. Custom URLs for each institution have been configured; however no other changes have been made to individual user account roles or access level.
Non-SSO Users: Existing user accounts will continue to sign-in using multi-factor authentication; however the DWRS URL has changed and the user will need to obtain a new, one-time password from the Enabling Services implementation team.
