Problem

An issue arose for several colleges on December 21st21, 2016 when trying to access the OpenCCC/Apply Admin CCCApply Administrator and Report Center applications. The issue was evidenced by college administrators seeing a blank page in their browser when they tried to get to the applications via their local college IdP using a URL similar to this one used by Marin College:Image Removed

Solution

This issue can be resolved by a college IT or system administrator with access to the college and/or district IdP.  The directions to resolve the issue are as follows:

1) cd /opt/shibboleth-idp/metadata

2) edit the file named OpenCCCSP-static-metadata.xml

3) in the first line of the file, remove the string validUntil="2016-12-21T01:10:00Z" from that line, leaving all other parameters intact

4) restart the IdP
