Security Updates for DWRS User Accounts

Security updates were made to the Data Warehouse Report Server (DWRS), supporting single sign-on authentication (SSO) for colleges and districts via their own identity provider systems, and additional security for non-SSO users via multi-factor authentication. All existing user accounts have been migrated to a new secure identity management system; however all users will need to take one or more, one-time actions to re-authorized authorize their existing account access.

Access Update Information

College & District Users (SSO): The security enhancements deployed in this release require authorized college and district users to access the Data Warehouse Report Server through their own institution's secure IdP using their own existing SSO user credentials. A custom URL for each institution has been configured based on their your MIS code; however no other changes have been made to user roles or access levellevels.

Chancellor’s Office & Other External Stakeholders (Non-SSO): All nonNon-college & district user accounts account holders will continue to sign - in to the DWRS using multi-factor authentication ; however existing users will be directed to a new DWRS URL and will need to obtain a new, one-time password from the with an established user account created by the CCCTC Enabling Services implementation team.
