The authoritative source for official names & descriptions of each CCCTC product & service.

Contents

Introduction

The California Community Colleges Technology Center (CCCTC) provides multiple products and services to assist California’s community colleges by facilitating and coordinating the work of systemwide technology. For consistency and to add clarification to this work, this guide was created to serve as the authoritative source of truth for the official name and description of each CCCTC’s product and service, for internal use only.

The CCCTC Products & Services Definitions document is a living document representing the current-state of each product & service developed and delivered by the CCC Technology Center, unless otherwise noted. Required updates will be referred to the document owner for inclusion and approved by the CCCTC Executive Director, Tim Calhoon

This document should be reviewed before each major product release to ensure it continues to reflect current and accurate information.

Change Notification: CCCTC employees and contract staff will be notified of all confirmed changes upon approval by the CCCTC Executive Director.

Student Success Suite

The Student Success Suite is a collection of student-facing products developed by the CCC Technology Center, including OpenCCC, CCC MyPath, and CCCApply admission & financial aid applications.

Important Note for June 2021 Release: The Apply/MyPath/OpenCCC/Career Coach suite of CCCTC products, which previously did not have a cohesive marketing ‘brand’ tying them together, is being transitioned into the “Student Success Suite” branding umbrella. While certain things will happen within the products to support this (such as removing OpenCCC branding from the Account UX to reduce student confusion), this is largely a marketing and business change, not a functional/software change.
