How can I check to see if COCI, MIS and my local system have the same data elements recorded?

Both COCI and have "public reports" available that display course and program information to help you look at (in)consistencies across the systems. There are a few different ways to do this. As of now, there isnt a file comparison tool or published template that would let you do this on a broad scale or with much automation. However, if you want to look at the data for specific control numbers of a small set of control numbers, you can do this without any extra tools or fancy formulas. 

If you dont have a login to COCI you're only option is the public reports page. The good news here is that you can search on a bunch of different data elements and export filtered results right to excel. To access the public reports, go to the COCI homepage and click courses or programs on the upper right hand corner or simply bookmark these pages:
