The purpose of this document is to outline the ES implementation process for supporting colleges that opt-in to accessing required to support colleges access their Canvas API key data in the CCC Data Warehouse.
Objectives
Understand the scope and parameters around the availability of Canvas data in the Data Warehouse (direct access connection only).
Understand the ES processes (roles & responsibilities) necessary for connecting colleges* with their Canvas data in the DW.
Provide detailed instructions for colleges to locate their Canvas API key and complete any other implementation tasks required to facilitate this access.
Provide support information and documentation links to support colleges.
Canvas Data Availability Overview
To facilitate access to Canvas data in the DW, colleges must “opt-in” to initiate the implementation project
Available through Direct Connect access
and/or DW Report ServerColleges must “opt-in” to initiate implementation and access
Configuration process requires the college’s college to provide their unique Canvas API key - to ES team which is then supplied to InterVision via SNOW ticket.
